Repubblica.it – an Italian online newspaper – ran a special section for the 2013 elections from before they got underway all the way up to the exit polls. Dynamic infographics were designed for this occasion to inform the public about their prospective new government. The system is interfaced with a database that follows the poll’s development using an algorithm that transforms the coalitions’ percentages into potential MPs. Users can also change the last polls based on their inklings, view their own Senate and share it on various social networks.
